Project Description:
- Contract with Ashkelon Water Authority begun in 2015 for ongoing operation and maintenance.
- Treats approximately 10,000m3 per day.
- Uses activated sludge for secondary water treatment.
- Collects sewage from five local regional councils and the nearby industrial area.
- A planned expansion will allow the facility to process higher volumes and to do tertiary water treatment.
